CAPECO Workforce Development is responsible for the provision of Rapid Response activities in case of mass employment layoffs or business closures. Rapid Response includes immediate and on-site contact with the employer, affected workers, the local community, provision of informaton regarding services, guidance in establishment of a labor-management committee or workforce transition committee, provision of emergency assistance and provision of assistance to the local board and local elected officials to develop a coodinated response.
